Tired Family
We've had a bunch of sickness in the family the past few weeks. I came home from Target the other night to find this:
Daddys Birthday
Unforunately I didn't get any pictures on Fathers Day..... we spent Daddy's birthday at the Twins Game. Grandma Benedict watched Emma while Papa joined the three of us the game.
Happy Birthday Andy! We hope you had a great birthday. Many, Many More!
WE LOVE YOU!!!!
Kansas City
Back in early June we took a four day trip to Kansas City.
Here we are in the car on the way down:
And we made a lunch stop at McDonalds. Carmen wasn't too thrilled for Ronald McDonald but we still got her to sit on the bench.
We did lots of swimming (our hotel was connected to an indoor waterpark too but I didn't get any pictures there). Unfortunately Emma was just too small to swim so Mommy spent a lot of time cuddling and watching Carmen and Daddy swim.
The view from our hotel was Kaufmann Stadium and Arrowhead. Carmen thought it was pretty cool. We also told her the hotel was our temporary home and that's what she kept calling it.
We ate at a restaurant called Fritz's where your food was delivered to you via a train. Carmen thought that was pretty cool.
We went to the zoo
And of course went to a Twins game.
We had a ton of fun and I hope that we can continue a tradition of taking the girls on trips as they get older. It's so much fun to see a trip like this make a 2 year old SO happy!
