The last weekend of July we embarked on our 2nd annual road trip to Kansas City. We stayed at the Holiday Inn across from the Royals Stadium. It has an indoor water park and we spent quite a bit of time there.
First stop, Lunch near the Iowa/Kansas Border:

Carmen got brave and sat in his lap :-)
We spent a full day at the KC Zoo.... saw lots of very cool animals
And spent lots of time in the waterpark.
We also went to the Twins Game on Tuesday night. It was a gorgeous night and the Twins decided to win! :-)
And finally the car ride home.
