New Car

We purchased a new car about a week ago. It replaces the Saturn, so I will be the main driver, but I suppose I will let Andy drive it every once in a while.... (wink, wink).

It's a Ford Edge..... I LOVE IT! :-)

Close to Crawling....??????

Recently Carmen has really gotten excited to be on her tummy. She will actually kind of get up on her back legs but forgets/isn't able to get up on her arms so she kind of plants her face into the carpet. Could we have a crawler on our hands soon?????

As a funny side note, Carmen almost always starts the day out with socks on. We know (and have witnessed) her pulling them off and eating them. Guess we should have know she had a thing for feet when her feet were at her mouth during every single ultrasound we had! :-) I found out this last week that they usually take them off her feet at daycare to avoid her eating them. She now actually will go after other babies socks and try to take them off and eat them. I believe she's actually been successful at least once ....... what a crazy girl! ;-)

Carmen's Baptism

Carmen was Baptized this past weekend. We were lucky enough to have almost our entire family join us. We missed Adam, Erin, Conor and Riley but knew they were with us in spirit and understood that they weren't able to attend.

It was such a nice day. Carmen did great during Church and she was smiling at us and didn't make a single peep when Father poured the water over her head.

Carmen wore the Baptism gown that my two sisters and I wore when we were Baptized 25-30 years ago. Such a special thing that we were able to use the same dress.

After Church, we had our families over to our house for lunch. It was finally nice outside, so we were able to spend the afternoon outside enjoying the beautiful weather.

Thanks to all those that helped make Carmen's Baptism a special day!

And then there were two......

No, I'm not pregnant................!!!!!!

TEETH! Carmen has two teeth that have popped through her gums in the last 24 hours! YEAH! We had a long, rough night last night of very little sleep, but hopefully she'll get through this fast and we'll get back to a normal schedule.

I will post pictures of her teeth once they are visible enough for the camera!

Our Baby is growing so Fast!!!!
