Birthday Celebrating - Part 3

The final piece of Carmen's birthday was her party.  We invited Family and one of Andy's co-workers and his family to join us for Pizza at Davanni's followed by a group trip to the zoo.  Carmen got a lot of very nice gifts! :-)  Thanks all for joining us.

Birthday Party - Celebrating Part 2

On Carmen's Birthday Andy and I took the day off and spent it with her at the Mall of America.  Emma's too young yet so she went to daycare and the day was all about Carmen :-)

Started out with Rides at Nickelodeon Universe.   Mom was lucky  that Carmen chose Daddy to ride the majority of the rides with her :-)

 

We then had lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings followed by Carmen's FIRST movie.... FROZEN in 3D.  She did awesome and sat through the whole thing with her glasses on :-)

 

Birthday Celebrating - Part 1

Today we laid low at home celebrating Carmen's birthday.  She got a donut (which she's been asking for!),  a few cupcakes and presents from us.

On a side note, kind of sad when we put her to bed as she said...."I don't want my Birthday to be over".   Kind of forget how much a day like this means when you are so little!   Good thing we are taking her to MOA tomorrow to go on rides and to a movie and then her party with family is Saturday!

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY CARMEN!!!!

Wow, how can it be three years ago that we welcomed little Carmen into this world!?!?!?  

Our lives have changed so much and we wouldn't ask for ANYTHING different!!


Carmen you are the most loving, crazy, outgoing, creative, happy, healthy girl!   We continually hear how well you are doing at daycare and how quickly you catch onto learning new things.   You know how to count to 30 or higher.   You are slowly learning your letters and numbers.   You know all your colors and are close to learning how to spell your name and you know Mommy, Daddy and Emma's full names too.   You are a picky eater, but definitely like your sweets (like your Mommy).   You write, eat and cut with your left hand but swing the bat and throw the ball with your right hand.
